Company Overview
Twin Cities SHRM (TCSHRM) is one of the largest SHRM chapters with over 1,000 members. Founded in 1951, we celebrated 70 years strong in 2021 and became a Pinnacle Award Winning Chapter! In 2022, we won another Pinnacle Award for our ground breaking What the HR! Podcast. Our theme for 2023 is Believe. Belong. Be Bold. It's critical to know that you belong and are a bold key partner to your organizations no matter the circumstances. It's time to go beyond the mantra of it's our time and to act.
TCSHRM is a premier professional Human Resources organization. We are committed to driving high standards of competence, influencing employers to effectively utilize human resources and advocate for important human resource issues. We are proud to hold a SHRM Super Mega chapter status with over 1,000 professionals who work in a variety of key industries including: business, education, retail, food and beverage, finance, insurance, manufacturing, civic organizations and many more. Each year, we provide the highest quality professional development, information exchange, and networking opportunities for the Human Resource professional. We drive connection and innovation through our many monthly events, and our annual Spring and Fall Conferences. We believe deeply in focusing on the strengths of our members and volunteers and are proud to be CliftonStrengths based organization.

Purpose
To promote high standards of competence among members and contribute to their career development in a manner which will enhance their effectiveness as human resource professionals. To influence and enhance member-employing organizations through the effective utilization of human resources. To educate and inform members, educators, legislators, and the public on important human resource issues.
